Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the efforts of the Permanent Committee in clarifying the necessity of obeying the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and adhering to his Sunnah and preserving it. The research used the descriptive inductive method, and it included an introduction, topics, several demands, and a conclusion, as follows: The first topic: Definitions of the title’s vocabulary, and it contains two demands: The first requirement: Defining efforts linguistically and terminologically, and the second requirement: Defining (the Prophet) linguistically and terminologically. As for the second topic: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in clarifying the rights related to the obligation of obeying the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and following his Sunnah. It contains two requirements: The first requirement: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in explaining the obligation of obeying him. The necessity of his Sunnah and preserving it, and the second requirement: the efforts of the Standing Committee in explaining the meaning of the Sunnah and its parts. The third topic: the efforts of the Standing Committee in explaining the evidence of the necessity of obeying him, peace be upon him, and the necessity of his Sunnah. The first requirement: the efforts of the Standing Committee in explaining the conditions for achieving following the Prophet, peace be upon him, in worship, and the requirement. The second: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in clarifying the position of the Salaf regarding followers, and the fourth topic: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in defending his Sunnah, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it contains two requirements: The first requirement: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in explaining heresies and warning against them, The second requirement: The efforts of the Permanent Committee in warning against division, Then a conclusion with the most prominent results and recommendations.
