Abstract

     The study aims to identify the role of distance learning through educational platforms in developing skills of the female students of Education Technology at Undergraduate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the survey method has been followed. The sample of the study consists of (365) female students. The questionnaire has been used as a tool for data collection, which consists of three domains:  the cognitive component, the emotional component, and the skill and behavioral component. The most important finding of the research is that the distance learning experience through educational platforms from the perspective of the female students of Education Technology at Undergraduate is at a medium level in general. The findings also have shown that distance education through educational platforms contributes to the development of the cognitive component, the skill and behavioral component and the emotional component of the students to a medium level.

     The most important recommendation by the study is to develop the necessary tools to raise the knowledge level of female students when they use educational platforms, and to create a knowledge stock commensurate with the available technology tools, in addition to enhancing students’ emotional attitude towards using e-learning platforms.
