Abstract

This quantitative study aimed to discuss the ethics of administrative work and its impact on developing and motivating creative abilities. The problem of the study is that; the weak commitment of workers to the ethics of administrative work; It will lead to a decrease in the rate of productivity, and a decrease in the level of performance and administrative creativity in many aspects, in addition to other problems at work. Therefore, the study aimed; Measuring the degree of commitment of university employees to work ethics. Discuss the extent of stimulating the creative abilities of university workers. Measuring the degree of commitment of higher education institutions to applying work ethics. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach. The study population consisted of academics, technicians and administrators working in four governmental and private educational institutions in the Sultanate of Oman, with a total of (830) affiliates. The researcher selected a stratified random sample according to the table of Christie and Morgan (1970); It was estimated by (263) academics and administrators to accurately represent the study population. The researcher designed a questionnaire containing (36) statements distributed on three axes: the extent of employees' commitment to work ethics, stimulating the employees' creative abilities, and the extent of senior management's commitment to applying work ethics. The statistical methods used: descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient, Cronbach's alpha stability coefficient. The study reached several results, perhaps in the forefront of which are: The axes of the degree of commitment of university workers to work ethics, the degree of stimulation of the creative abilities of university workers, and the degree of commitment of workers to work ethics in universities in the Sultanate of Oman; She was highly rated.
