Abstract

Sūrat Al-Mulk deals with the components of intellectual civilization in doctrine, approach, and morals to establish a comprehensive and extended civilization. The current research deals with the definition of intellectual civilization and deducing the most prominent components of intellectual civilization contained in the Surah, explaining its importance in controlling thought and its impact on building civilization, and linking Quranic verses to their cultural connotations. The research was divided into three main components: Intellectual faith-based components, cognitive intellectual components, and moral intellectual components, and reached several findings, the most prominent of which are: the Quran’s attention to thought; As it is the first stage in the ladder of global civilization; as there is no civilization without straight thought, the importance of correct belief in forming correct thought, building a strong and extended civilizational base, the necessity of positive interaction between the senses and the mind to benefit from and work according to knowledge in achieving intellectual and material advancement, and moral values are an intellectual necessity and ideal rules for controlling and directing thought.
