About the Journal

Humanities and Educational Sciences Journal is published by Taiz University. It is a peer-reviewed scientific journal issued bimonthly in both print and electronic formats. The journal is an indexed journal with the International Classification Numbers: (ISSN: 2617-5908) for the printed version, and (ISSN: 2709-0302) for the electronic version. The journal also includes the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) prefix: (DOI/10.55074/). It has become a member of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and is published regularly in (January, March, May, July, September, and November) each year. The journal is professionally independent and operates in accordance with internationally recognized standards.

The journal is concerned with publishing original research in educational sciences and human studies in both Arabic and English, produced by researchers from within and outside the university, provided that such research has not been previously published. It also publishes abstracts of Master’s and PhD theses after they have been academically approved. The journal follows an Open Access policy, making its content available for reading and downloading to ensure easy access to information.

 Journal Vision:

The vision of the journal is to achieve excellence, quality, and competition at the national and international levels for the publication of scientific research in the field of humanities and educational sciences in Arabic and English as a duty of Taiz University in sponsoring scientific research.

Journal Mission:

  The Journal of Humanities and Educational Sciences at Taiz University, Turbah Branch seeks to publish authentic scientific research by adhering to the standards and ethics of scientific publication via a clear policy to serve researchers and society.

Objectives of the Journal:

The journal aims at achieving the following:

1- Publishing authentic educational, psychological and human researches and studies to serve the society and solve its problems.

2- The journal is to be a scientific reference for human, educational and psychological researchers at the local, regional and global levels.

3- Publishing reviews and synopses of books, scientific theses and dissertations after they have been academically approved in the field of humanities and educational sciences.

4- Enhancing the development of educational, psychological and human sciences via the findings of theoretical and practical researches.

5- Achieving a high impact factor locally and in the Arab world and being a tool for publishing authentic and qualified researches.

6- Promoting scientific research in the field of educational, psychological and human sciences.

Licensing and Publication rights:

Humanities and Educational Sciences Journal is an open-access journal that provides full access to all published research content. Its materials are licensed for reading, downloading, sharing, copying, and reusing, either wholly or partially, without prior permission from the journal or the author, under the terms of the Creative Commons (CC BY 4.0) license. Moreover, the ethics of scientific research regarding citation and referencing should be taken into consideration without any commercial profit. The journal and the authors retain their copyright and publishing rights.

Open Access:

The Journal of Humanities and Educational Sciences at Taiz University, Yemen provides free and unrestricted access to its published researches without any financial, legal, or technical barriers. All articles become openly accessible immediately upon publication on the journal’s online website and across various indexing and academic publishing channels. Any visitor or researcher is permitted to read, download, copy, or cite the journal’s research content, based on the ethics of scientific research and proper academic citation.

Publication Fees

The Journal of Humanities and Educational Sciences is affiliated with Taiz University, a governmental institution, and does not receive any financial support. Therefore, the journal is self-funded through publication fees. A fee of (200 USD) is charged for research papers submitted from outside the country in order to cover the costs of peer review as well as online and print publication.
