The aim of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of the McCarthy model in developing problem-solving and decision-making skills within the curriculum of life and family skills among primary school female students in Al-Kharj province. The researcher employed a semi-experimental approach, with a study sample of (66) sixth-grade female students, divided into two groups: a control group consisting of (33) students and an experimental group consisting of (33) students. The study's instruments included pre- and post-tests, assessing problem-solving skills. The researcher also designed a teacher's guide, ensuring the reliability and validity of the tools. For statistical analysis, the researcher utilized the SPSS program to analyze the study's data. The results of the study are as follows: The effectiveness of the McCarthy model has a significant impact on the development of problem-solving skills in the course of Family Life Skills among elementary school female students in Al-Kharj Governorate. Additionally, the effectiveness of the McCarthy model has a significant impact on the development of decision-making skills in the course of Family Life Skills among elementary school female students in Al-Kharj Governorate.Downloads
