Abstract

This research seeks to shed light on the efforts of one of the scholars of the Islamic Maghreb, the interpreter Ahmed Al-Basaili, in serving Qur’anic rhetoric by highlighting the rhetoric of Qur’anic compositions, and highlighting some rhetorical images in Qur’anic systems in his book: (Rhetoric images and Cautions in the Interpretation of the Glorious Qur’an). In his book, Al-Basaili adopted quick references and brief warnings, and his attention to the style of predication and construction was evident, and the most complex of speech, and its deviation from apparent requirements. He also paid attention to the style of introduction and delay, and some of their rhetorical secrets. He also drew attention to brevity and some places of deletion, and to redundancy and some of its places. His attention to the topics of separation and connection was less than the cautions mentioned above, and his attention to the style of shortening, definiteness, and indefiniteness was less than them.
