Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the relationship between familiarity and psychological flow among Saudi university students on scholarship abroad, and to identify the differences between male and female students in familiarity and psychological flow. The study followed the descriptive, comparative, correlational approach, and the study sample consisted of (160) university students, including (102) male and 58 female students. Among the tools, the study used two scales of familiarity and psychological flow (prepared by the researcher). The study concluded that there is an inverse correlation between familiarity and psychological flow among Saudi university students on scholarship abroad. It also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the students. And the female students on the scale of familiarity towards the female students, and there were statistically significant differences between the male and female students on the scale of psychological flow towards the male students.
