Abstract

The research aims to introduce the Prophet Shuaib, peace be upon him, and his people, and to clarify the contents of his call in the Holy Qur’an. It also aims to clarify his approach in calling to these contents, and to highlight the methods that distinguished him in his call, and to identify the pillars on which his call was based. The study follows the deductive analytical approach, and includes an introduction, a background, two chapters, and a conclusion. The background provides a brief definition of the Prophet, Shuaib, peace be upon him, and his people, and presented a summary of his story. Chapter One focuses on the directives that Prophet Shu'aib (peace be upon him) delivered to his people, including orders, prohibitions, and stories. Chapter two detailed the methods of the prophet Shu’aib’s calling, peace be upon him, and the basic pillars upon which his call, was based on. The study concludes with an identification of its main findings, including: the contents of Shuaib's call, peace be upon him, to his people are principles agreed upon by all the prophets, peace be upon them. Through my tracing of the verses of the Qur’an, I did not find an explicit directive from God to his Prophet Shuaib, peace be upon him, and the preacher is exposed to all kinds of afflictions and types of harm, and this is God’s Sunnah in calling.
