General education teachers’ acceptance of the use of smart chatbots in the educational process in light of the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT)

The aim of the current research is to reveal the degree of acceptance by general education teachers of the use of smart chatbots in the educational process in the light of the variables of the unified theory of acceptance and use of, and to determine the effect of the Some variables on the degree of acceptance of general education teachers to use smart chatbots in the educational process, where the research used the descriptive approach, and an electronic questionnaire was designed consisting of (40 items), which were applied to a sample of (327) general education teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the research reached the following results: the degree of teachers’ acceptance of the use of smart chat robots in the educational process was achieved. To a high degree, and differences between the expected performance dimension towards using smart chatbots in the educational process, and the expected effort/ease dimension; While there are no statistically significant differences in the total score for acceptance in all dimensions except for the social influence dimension, the differences were statistically significant due to the difference in specialization, and the differences are in favor of teachers from theoretical specializations.Downloads
