This research aims to demonstrate the importance of cultural exchange between communication between civilizations, search for the most important Islamic and Arabic manuscripts located at the University of Birmingham, and seek to demonstrate the importance of Arab and Islamic heritage through Western manuscript centers. In this research, the researcher relied on the descriptive and analytical method. The research included an introduction, three chapters, and a conclusion. Chapter One: Basics of Research, Chapter Two: The Cultural Dimension in Islamic Civilization and Its Impact on Other Civilizations, Chapter Three: Manuscripts and Their Impact on Intercultural Communication. Then the researcher reached a number of results related to the subject of the research, the most prominent of which are: Islamic culture in building identity is represented by: focusing on the characteristics of the Islamic nation and protecting it from loss, preserving the peoples of the Islamic homeland and uniting them in a unified, solidary way within a common Islamic culture, and paying attention to the issue of psychological safety. For individuals, and strengthening the nature of belonging to the Islamic religion, regardless of the differences in languages and ethnicities of Muslims. The process of cultural communication is a necessary process in which the culture of one nation is connected to the culture of another nation through literature, art, and thought, so that cultural communication includes multiple aspects and is not limited to one aspect alone.
