Evaluation of the Academic Performance of Faculty Members at the Faculty of Education, Hodeidah University

The study aimed to investigate the academic performance of faculty members at the Faculty of Education at the University of Hodeidah, descriptive analytical approach was employed, where the class schedule for the second semester was analyzed to determine the percentage of faculty members' performance, a questionnaire was also administered to 35 faculty members. The results showed that the percentage of teaching performance of faculty members in the college was 23.83%, while the remaining teaching performance was carried out by collaborators from outside the college, who accounted for 76.16% of the total teaching performance, of these collaborators, 8% held doctorates and the rest held master's and bachelor's degrees. The average academic performance of faculty members at the Faculty of Education according to the questionnaire was 3.58 with a standard deviation of 0.634, which is considered a weak performance overall, compared to the overall academic performance in the college, The study recommended adhering to recognized standards for ensuring the quality of faculty members and building learning environments that adopt other methods of providing education, relying on innovations and principles of digital education such as blended learning and flipped learning, etc., It recommended developing it into a quality college and providing it with the basic requirements in light of the goals of education in the twenty-first century, taking into account the transformation of education and the effects of digital transformation.Downloads
