Abstract

The research aimed to identify the reality of institutional performance at Al-Jand University of Science and Technology in light of the balanced scorecard. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher used the descriptive survey method. A questionnaire tool was also used to collect data and information, which was applied to all (64) academic and administrative leaders at the university. (individuals. The entire community was taken as a sample for research using a comprehensive inventory method. After collecting and analyzing data using appropriate statistical methods, the research reached the following results: 1- The degree of availability of balanced performance indicators in institutional performance at Al-Jund University of Science and Technology was high, at the level of overall performance and at the level of the four dimensions (internal operations - learning and growth - financial dimension - beneficiaries). 2- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α= 0.05) in the estimates of the members of the research sample to the degree of availability of balanced performance indicators in institutional performance at Al-Jand University of Science and Technology at the overall performance level, and in the dimensions of: internal operations, beneficiaries dimension, financial dimension, attributed to for the type of leadership variable, while there are no differences in the learning and growth dimension. 3- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the estimates of the members of the research sample for the degree of availability of balanced performance indicators in institutional performance at Al-Jand University of Science and Technology at the level of the combined dimensions, and at the level of each dimension due to the years of experience variable. In light of the findings of the research, a number of recommendations and proposals are presented.
