Abstract

The current study aims to determine the level of Including Content and Processes of Financial Culture, and The Level of Including Contexts of Financial Culture in The Mathematics Textbooks for the 6th Grade, The researcher used the descriptive analytical method; based on the method of content analysis to suit the purpose of the research, The researcher prepared two tools, the first: a list of the content, processes and contexts of financial culture, which should be available in mathematics books for the sixth grade of primary school; the second, a card for analyzing the content of mathematics books for the sixth grade of primary school, parts one, two, and three; The study was conducted on mathematics books for the year 1443 AH-2022 AD. The analysis process included the objectives of the mathematics book for the sixth grade of primary school, the content of the mathematics book for the sixth grade of primary school, activities and evaluation.the results concluded that the level of inclusion of the indicators of the first axis related to the content of financial culture in mathematics books for the sixth grade reached (27) indicators with a total frequency of (288), and the percentage of the axis as a whole ranged between (10.41%-1.04%), and the general average of the score was The totality of the first axis is (3.69%), which indicates that the level of inclusion of the content of financial culture in the mathematics book for the sixth grade of primary school was low, and that the inclusion of the indicators of the second axis related to financial culture operations in the mathematics book of the sixth grade of primary school amounted to (13) indicators with a total frequency of (201), and the percentage of the axis as a whole ranged between (15.92%-3.48%), and the general average of the total score for the second axis was (7.68%), which indicates that the level of inclusion of financial culture operations in the sixth grade mathematics textbook came to a medium degree, and that The level of inclusion of the indicators of the third axis related to the level of inclusion of financial culture contexts in the mathematics book for the sixth grade of primary school amounted to (11) indicators with a total frequency of (119), and the percentage of the axis as a whole ranged between (16.8%-2.52%), and the general average of the total score for the axis was The third (9.08%) indicates that the level of inclusion of financial culture contexts in the sixth grade mathematics textbook came to a medium degree, and in the light of the results, recommends the need for those in charge of preparing and designing the sixth grade mathematics textbook to include topics that raise the level of content and processes of financial culture and its contexts among students.
