The Quality of Academic Life and its Relationship to the Thinking Styles of Female Students at Taif University

The study aimed to identify the quality of academic life and its relationship to the thinking styles of female students at Taif University. The researcher used the descriptive approach, and the study sample was (150) female students. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher applied the quality of academic life scale prepared by Al-Otaibi (2006), and the thinking styles scale. Prepared by Sternberg (1990), Arabized by Abu Hashem (2007). The results of the study resulted in a positive, statistically significant correlation in the level of quality of academic life after (knowledge) and the level of all thinking styles except (minority and chaotic), as well as after (skills) and the level of all thinking styles. Except (legislative, local, chaotic), and also after (personal) and all thinking styles except (global, local, chaotic), and also in the level of quality of academic life as a whole and all styles of thinking except chaotic, While there is no statistically significant correlation between the level of quality of academic life after (knowledge) and the two styles of thinking (minoritarian and chaotic), as well as between the level of quality of academic life after (personal) and some thinking styles (global, local, and chaotic), as well as the level of quality of life Academic after (wisdom) and all thinking methods, and finally between the level of quality of academic life as a whole and the chaotic thinking style among female students at Taif University. The results also showed a high level of quality of academic life and the level of thinking styles as a whole, and the results did not show any statistically significant differences in the level of quality of life. Academics, as well as the level of thinking methods, are attributed to the college variable (scientific/humanitarian).Downloads
