The current study aimed to assess the level of competencies necessary for cooperative work among female teachers of female students with learning disabilities, and their opinions on it. It also aimed to identify the differences in necessary competencies and opinions according to two variables: educational qualification and years of experience. The study utilized a questionnaire prepared by the researcher and administered to a sample of (42) teachers from elementary schools supervised by the Shifa district office in Riyadh. The results showed that teachers of female students with learning disabilities strongly agreed on engaging in cooperative work with general education teachers. The basic competencies for cooperative work were found to be highly available among them. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences in the opinions of teachers towards cooperative work with regards to those holding a master's degree or higher. Significant differences were also found in the basic competencies required for cooperative work among teachers with a bachelor's degree. However, there were no statistically significant differences in the necessary competencies and opinions of teachers for cooperative work based on years of experience.Downloads
