Abstract

The study addressed the role of external policy in achieving security and peace in light of Islamic politics. The study problem lies in the global Islamic and humanitarian value of security and peace, The positive and influential role played by the foreign policy of the Muslim state in resolving disputes, to spread international security and peace. The study aims at knowing the nature of external policy and showing the importance of achieving security and peace considering Islamic politics and explaining the most important means of external policy in achieving security and peace in light of Islamic politics. The study adopted the inductive and analytical approach to suit the nature of the study and its ability to achieve its objectives. The study found a number of results, the most important of which include achieving security and peace is a legal obligation and a life necessity that human beings cannot do without. Allah has revealed His law to achieve security and peace among people, preserve their interests, and guide them to what will bring them happiness in this world and the afterlife. International relations in Islam are based on peace, not on war, and war is not legalized in Islam only in defense of Muslims and their homelands, to secure freedom of religion, and to prevent persecution therein. Therefore, war is an urgent necessity governed by Sharia rules. This study offered recommendations. He suggests that there must be political foresight centers that analyze the data and strive to develop perceptions and envisioned scenarios and methods for dealing with each situation. There must be a few specialists in Islamic politics in political research and foresight centers so that they control the analysis of data, results, proposals, and perceptions with Sharia controls.
