The study aimed to identify the role of education department leaders in achieving development in light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate, identify the obstacles that limit the role of education department leaders in achieving development in light of Vision 2030, identify the level of differences in the role of education leaders according to the variables (years of service - academic qualification - Training courses in development in light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate used the descriptive analytical approach. The study sample consisted of (38) leaders of education departments in achieving development in light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate. The results concluded that the role of leaders of education departments in achieving development In light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate, the obstacles that limit the role of education department leaders in achieving development in light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate came to a moderate degree (that there are no statistically significant differences at the level regarding the role of education leaders in achieving development in light of Vision 2030 in Yanbu Governorate).
