Abstract

The study aimed to identify self-efficacy and its relationship with positive behavior among students of The Tafila Technical University. The study sample was randomly selected from university students registered for the second semester of 2023/2024, with (662) students. The self-efficacy scale by (Mohemed, 2019) was used, which consists of (17) items in its final version, and the positive behavior scale by (Brebkh, 2015), which consists of (45) items distributed across three dimensions: Positive Personal Behavior, Positive Social Behavior, and Positive Academic Behavior. The result of the study showed that self-efficacy and positive behavior were moderate, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and positive behavior. Additionally, there were no statistically significant differences in the levels of self-efficacy or positive behavior based on the gender of the student (male, female). The study recommended that universities implement programs aimed at raising the levels of self-efficacy and positive behavior among students.
