The study aims to investigate the most common communication patterns among female graduate students at the College of Education at King Khalid University as well as their level of psychological adaptability and marital quality. The study aims at predicting the Quality of Married Life for the members of the study sample via the relative contribution of communication patterns and psychological flexibility. Moreover, the study aims to verify the existence of statistically significant differences in the variable of the study. The descriptive-analytical method was adopted, and the research sample consists of 271 married female students, including 169 master's students and 101 doctoral students. The tools of the study have been adopted upon the sample. The research results have shown no statistically significant differences between the frequencies of positive and negative communication patterns in terms of prevalence rates. There is a high level of psychological flexibility and marital quality among the sample participants. However, there are statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.05 between the means of total scores for positive communication patterns according to the academic degree variable in favor of the master's degree group. There are no statistically significant differences in the means of total scores for negative communication patterns according to the academic degree variable (MA, PHD). The results have also indicated that it is possible predict significant marital quality via both communication patterns and psychological flexibility variables.Downloads
