Abstract

     The study aimed to build a proposed training program to develop research skills for graduate students in the colleges of education at the universities (Aden and Lahj), by identifying the training needs to develop research skills for graduate students in the colleges of education at the universities (Aden and Lahj) from their point of view; To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive survey method was used, and the study sample amounted to (59) graduate students in the faculties of education at the Universities of (Aden and Lahj), and a questionnaire consisting of (27) items was applied to them distributed on four areas: academic skills, language skills, skills Technological, statistical skills, and the study concluded a number of results, most notably: The degree of training needs for the estimates of the sample members for the development of research skills in all fields and in the tool as a whole, came to a high degree, and the field of statistical skills ranked first, followed by the field of language skills in the second place. Then the field of academic skills ranked third, and finally the field of technological skills ranked fourth. Accordingly, the proposed training program was presented, as well as a set of recommendations and suggestions.
