This research aims to investigate the attempts by the Shiites to employ the verses of the Noble Qur’an to demonstrate their false beliefs, and to defame the companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family, and demolish the beliefs of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama’ah. It is a miserable, desperate attempt. The scholars of Islam confronted it and showed its weakness. Among such scholars is Imam Al-Fakhr Al-Razi in his book Al-Tafsir Al-Kabeer. This study has highlighted the ability of Al-Razi to demolish their falsified interpretation and deductions such as their inference with the verse of Al-Ghar in challenging the Imamate of Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, and their inference with the verse of Al-Mubahala to prove the superiority of Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, over the rest of the Prophet's companions, may Allah be pleased with them, and others.
