Abstract

His study sought to define academic independence and examine if it was practiced by faculty members and female studies students at Saudi Arabia universities, specifically Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University. As the qualitative expression describes the phenomenon and clarifies its characteristics, the quantitative expression gives an insulting numerical description. It also comes in two different forms: qualitative and numerical. At Princess Nourah Bint Abdul Rahman University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, appropriate questionnaires were created and distributed to teachers and graduate students. The study was conducted on 249 faculty members and 215 postgraduate students at Princess Nourah Abdul Rahman University's College of Education. Their average degree of academic freedom was (78.4), but female students' average degree was (79.2), indicating that the practice of academic freedom was of a medium degree. Individual disparities between the pupils' academic levels were attributed to these differences، and the study offered several recommendations.
