Abstract

The study aimed to determine the degree of availability of the standards of specialized framework for the field of learning Islamic education in Islamic studies books for the secondary stage. The study used the descriptive and analytical approach. To achieve the study objective, an evaluation card was prepared for the student books of Doctrines and monotheism, Sunnah and its studies, and the jurisprudence and its principles, taught to female high school students in the general track, edition of the Ministry of Education for the academic year 2022/2023. In structuring the tool, this study relied on the standards designated for the field of Islamic education learning stipulated by Education and Training Evaluation Commission, totaling to (8) main standards and (32) indicators. The study resolved to a number of results, the most important of which are: The availability of the standards for specialized framework for the level of focus in the field of learning Islamic education came in a similar manner between the book of the Sunnah and its studies and the book of Jurisprudence and its Principles, amounting to 39.4% for the book of Jurisprudence and its Principles and 35% for the book of the Sunnah and its studies, while the availability of specialized standards was less than that percentage in the book of Doctrine and monotheism. In general, repetitions with this redundancy fulfill the standards of specialized framework for the field of learning Islamic education well with these repetitions, which amounted to 543, noting that the criteria of comprehensiveness and high expectations were the least available among all the criteria, in all Islamic education books for the secondary stage for the focus level. The study recommended that Book of Doctrine and Monotheism shall provide greater linkage to the standards of specialized framework for the field of Islamic education to keep pace with what has been done in the book of the Sunnah and its studies, and the book of jurisprudence and its principles. Furthermore, respective authorities shall take the necessary measures towards further provision of the standards contained therein in addition to high expectations in the books of Islamic education for the secondary stage at the focus level.
