The Ability to Creative Solution of Problem in the light of Specialization Difference Among Secondary School Students in Yanbu Governerate

The current study aimed to identify the level of the ability to creatively solve problems among secondary school students in Yanbu Governorate, and to determine the extent of the difference in the ability to creatively solve problems among secondary school students according to the specialization (the natural sciences track - the humanities track) among secondary school students in the governorate of Yanbu. Yanbu. The study used the descriptive approach, and the study relied on measures of the ability to creatively solve problems (prepared by: Sorour and Saleem, 2010). The sample of the study consisted of (340) students from the third year of high school in Yanbu Governorate, who were chosen in a stratified random manner. They were distributed according to specialization into (205) students majoring in natural sciences, and (135) students majoring in humanities. The results of the study showed that the level of ability to creatively solve problems among secondary school students in Yanbu Governorate was high. On the creative solution of problems for the benefit of a group of students majoring in natural sciences. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended that the school environment should contain a set of requirements that contribute to the development of creative thinking skills to solve problems, and encourage students to use effective cognitive strategies in organizing information in working memory structures, which in turn contribute to the ability to solve problems in a creative way.Downloads
