This research aimed to determine the level of consistency of the elementary school science text-books with content standards (knowledge and understanding axis) in the Natural Science Learning Standards Document issued by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, by identifying the level of inclusion of content standards for the foundation level (1-3 grades) and enhancement level (4-6 grades) in the content of elementary school science text-books. The research used the descriptive analytical method "content analysis", by building a manual of content analysis as a tool for collecting data. After verifying the validity and reliability of the manual, the analysis was carried out on )12( student' science text-books of the elementary stage, and the )41( content standards (knowledge and understanding axis). The results showed that, the level of inclusion of content standards for the levels of foundation and enhancement (1–6 grades) in the content of science text-books came high, which was )82.35%( for (1-3) grades text-books, and )100%( for 4-6 grades text-books.Downloads
