Abstract

The current study aimed to Investigating the effect of using Marzano's model on developing mathematics achievement among first-grade intermediate students in Unaizah The semi-experimental method was used researcher batest counter My collection, and a teaching guide to how to teach Percentage applications unit, according to Marzano Dimensions of Learning model to measure the performance of the students in the pre and posttest of the study. The sample of the study consisted of (44) female students from the first intermediate grade in the fourth governmental school for girls affiliated to the Ministry of Education in the city of Unaizah, which included two groups: an experimental group, the number of its students (22) students, and a control group, the number of its students (22) students. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: Existence Statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the control group and the experimental group in the achievement test in favor of the experimental group The significant impact of the use of the Marzano model on measuring the achievement of the first intermediate grade students was also evident. The study reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which are: Holding training courses and workshops for mathematics teachers to help them use the Marzano model in teaching female students, Diversity in methods and models that attract students' attention and motivate them to learn more mathematics, interest development the collection in Mathematics for female students at different academic levels, Adopting the achievement test prepared by the researcher in measuring the achievement of the first intermediate level students, adopting the educational material represented by the Marzano program in teaching mathematics, working on linking previous knowledge with subsequent knowledge so that learning is meaningful to students.
