Abstract

The study aimed to identify the degree of leadership skills practiced by public school principals in Wadi Al-Seer District and its relationship to empowering teachers in distance learning from the teachers’ point of view. The descriptive, correlational survey method was used, and the questionnaire was a tool for collecting data. It was applied to a sample of (362) male and female teachers, and they were selected by a simple random method. The results showed that the degree of practicing leadership skills among school principals as a whole was high, and that the level of empowerment of teachers as a whole was high. The results showed that there was a moderate, positive, statistically significant correlation between the degree of practicing leadership skills of principals and the level of empowerment of teachers. Therefore, the study recommends the need for decision-making bodies to work to strengthen and encourage school principals to maintain high performance in practicing leadership skills.
