The familiarity level of early childhood teachers about the Rights of the Child in the light of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child

This study aims to identify the level of knowledge or familiarity of (female) early childhood teachers' knowledge of the rights of the child. The Rights of the Child are in the light of International Convention on the Rights of the Child (the right to education, participation & self-expression, protection, Movement entertainment and play, and health care). This study also aims to reveal statistically significant differences in the level of early childhood advertisers’ knowledge of Rights of the Child in light of the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, according to a set of the following variables: (educational qualification, years of experience and training courses). The study used the descriptive method and used the questionnaire as a tool for data collection. The sample consisted of (241) female teachers working in the early childhood stage in the Bisha governorate. Participants were selected by simple random method. The study reached several results, the most important of which are: That early childhood teachers have a very high level of knowledge, familiarity of the Rights of the Child in all the mentioned rights and variables. Also, the study concluded that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the Participants due to the variable of academic qualification or years of experience. Moreover, the study found that there were statistically significant differences in the responses of the Participants due to the variable training courses, in favor of the female teachers who received training courses in the field of Rights of the Child.Downloads
