Educational guidelines in the book "Al-Naseeha Al-Waldiya" by Abu Al-Walid Al-Baji and their applications in the family

The study aimed to identify the educational guidelines: religious, social, and scientific, in the book "Al-Naseeha Al-Waldiya" by Abu Al-Walid Al-Baji, and to derive educational applications from them in the family. The study used a documentary and deductive approach. The main results were as follows: In the religious aspect, the educational guidelines include: belief in the pillars of faith, love and obedience to the Prophet Muhammad, love for his companions, performing the pillars of Islam, observing Allah in private and in public, gratitude for His blessings and reliance on Him, seeking help through supplication, refraining from listening to music, moderation in seeking worldly pleasures, and striving in the path of Allah. As for the social educational guidelines, they include: etiquette in dealing with siblings, maintaining relationships with the father's friends, etiquette in dealing with friends, and etiquette in dealing with others. The scientific educational guidelines include: respecting scholars, emulating them, emphasizing the importance of knowledge, memorizing and acting upon the Quran, learning and adhering to the Sunnah, following the methodology of seeking religious knowledge, being cautious when reading books on logic and philosophy, and directing towards beneficial sciences. The study also reached educational applications for these aspects in the family and recommended their implementation, presenting a number of suggestions.Downloads
