Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the requirements for empowering academic women leaders at Umm Al-Qura University and its branches, as well as the requirements for excellence in institutional performance in Saudi universities. Women in Saudi Universities, which included: supporting and empowering women leaders, and describing leadership positions in a way that suits the nature and requirements of their work. The research also recommended continuing to spread the culture of empowerment in universities in order to achieve institutional excellence, and to develop organizational policies to raise the level of empowerment of women leaders, and to provide requirements to enhance the powers of women leaders.
