Evaluating English Language Teachers`use of artificial intelligence applications during teaching English at the intermediate Stage

The study aimed to evaluate the use of artificial intelligence applications by English language teachers while teaching English at the intermediate stage. To achieve the study objective, the researcher followed the descriptive approach, using the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. It was applied to the study sample consisting of (82) female English language teachers at the intermediate stage in government schools in Al-Rass Governorate. The results of the study showed that the use of artificial intelligence applications, the lesson planning stage, the lesson implementation stage, the lesson evaluation stage, and the reality of using appropriate artificial intelligence applications while teaching the English language course at the intermediate level came at a high level, with an arithmetic mean of (3.65), (3.65), (3.74), (3.55), and (3.45) respectively. In light of these results, the researcher presented a proposed perception for English language teachers' use of artificial intelligence applications. The study recommended the necessity of training teachers on the skills necessary to use artificial intelligence and providing incentives for teachers who use artificial intelligence applications in teaching English.Downloads
