Proposed Strategy for Higher Education Finance (HEF) of Saudi Arabia Universities

Abstract

This study aimed to develop a Proposed Strategy for HEF of Saudi Arabia Universities in terms of the experiences developed counties. To fulfil this aim, an analytical descriptive approach was used. Results of this study revealed that Kingdom of Saudi Arabia encourages variety of the financial resources for Higher Education at Saudi Universities via legislations, and facilities that made for achieving such variety. Moreover, Saudi Arabia has recently linked its governmental financial for the Universities with their achievements in light of specific standards, as a universal system for HEF (i.e. funding of government, students, universities, and society as well as external funding). Based on the results of the study, the following recommendations were recommended by this study: rationalization of educational outlay at universities, approval the idea of productive university, etc.
