Abstract

This research talks about a very important topic, which is the issue of the creation of the Qur'an at the Ibadi sect. The researcher presented the Ibadi sect, identifying it and its origins in general, and that it is one of the Kharijite sects, and dealt with the subject by explaining the origins of this article and its connection to the Jahmiyyah, and between its violation of the belief of the Sunnis and the community who say that the Qur’an is the word of God not created. The researcher revealed the difference between the Ibadis of the East (Oman) and the Ibadis of Morocco (North Africa) in the article “The Creation of the Qur’an”, noting that the ancient Ibadis of the East stipulated that the Qur’an is the word of God uncreated, and as for the Moroccans, they agreed with the Mu’tazila in saying the creation of the Qur’an, which is the saying adopted by the contemporary Ibadis. The researcher presented their evidence from the transmitted and discussed it, demonstrating the truth in that, relying on the texts of the infallible revelation from the Book and the Sunnah, then explaining the words of the nation's predecessors. One of the most important results of the research is that the article about the creation of the Qur’an was not with their ancestors, and they were influenced by the Mu’tazila in that.
