A comparative study between the History course books of sixth grade in the Republic of Yemen and Kingdom of Morocco

The aim of this study is to develop the History book of sixth grade in Yemen in the light of comparing it with the Moroccan History book. In order to fulfill this aim, the researcher used the analytical approach to analyze the structure of both History books. Described as qualitative study, the study used the comparative, which is one of the styles of analytical approach to compare between the general structure of the book and the methodology of setting up the historic lesson for both History books from the documents and literatures, as well as studying and analyzing them. The study reaches to focused main conclusions on the History book of sixth grade in Yemen, most important are: - the lesson structure in the book is based on approaching the goals, the historic lesson is presented with stating the information, and there are no clear stages to set up the historic lesson in the book. The study presented recommendations, most important are: - to develop approaching of the historic lesson structure wherein the lesson is planned from the exploratory activities and investigation, the historic documents and teaching supports.Downloads
