Aspects of adherence to the Quran and Sunnah as presented in Imam Al-Bukhari’s

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the aspects of adherence to the Quran and Sunnah as presented in Imam Al-Bukhari’s Al-Jami' Al-Sahih in the section on adherence. It consists of an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The first section addresses the concept of adherence to the Quran and Sunnah and their significance. The second section studies the aspects of adherence to the Quran and Sunnah as outlined in Imam Al-Bukhari's Al-Jami' Al-Sahih, along with the guidelines for each. In the third section, the researcher explains the approach of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, in adhering to the Quran and Sunnah as reflected in Imam Al-Bukhari’s work. The research concludes with a set of findings that highlight the comprehensive unity in adhering to the Quran and Sunnah by understanding the true meaning of adherence, maintaining complete yet flexible commitment to the religious texts, and consciously following those texts, inspired by the uprightness of the Companions in their adherence to the Quran and Sunnah.
