Submission Preparation Checklist

Publication Requirements:  

1-     The research must be original and must not have been previously published in any other journal.

2-     The research should be in between 5,000 and 10,000 words, including footnotes, references, and both the Arabic and English abstracts, and should not exceed 30 pages in the journal template.

3-     The corresponding author must be clearly identified for communication purposes.

4-     The researcher must submit a signed written statement, according to the form sent to the researcher, confirming that the research is not plagiarized and has not been published, wholly or partially, in print or electronically, and that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere at the same time.

5-     Submission should be made through the journal’s official website or the journal’s official email address.

1-       The researcher must verify all quotations and information derived from other references used in the research.

2-       The research must not be published in more than one publication venue simultaneously while it is being submitted to the Journal of Humanities and Educational Sciences.

3-       The researcher may publish the research in another publication journal after three years from the date of its publication in the Journal of Humanities and Educational Sciences, provided that written approval is obtained from the Editor-in-Chief, and that there are changes in the title, content, methodology, and results of the research.

4-       The researcher must follow the academic and scholarly style in writing and analysis.

5-       The researcher should use tables and figures clearly and provide them with descriptive titles.

6-       The researcher should avoid repetition and excessive quotation.

7-       The researcher should include all sources that have been cited.

8-       The researcher should adhere to the approved citation style (APA 7 or according to the journal’s referencing policy).

9-       The researcher should provide an Arabic abstract and an English abstract, each not exceeding 200 words, along with keywords.

10-   The researcher should ensure that the elements of the research are written in an organized and clear manner.

11-   The reference list should be accurate, arranged alphabetically, and formatted according to the approved style guide.

12-   The researcher should adhere to research ethics, including obtaining ethical approvals if the study is experimental or survey-based.

13-   The researcher should comply with the reviewers’ comments and revisions, especially when the comments are substantial and enrich the research topic and findings.

14-   If the researchers discover any error or deficiency in the research, they should promptly notify the editorial board for correction or withdrawal of the paper containing errors.
