Committed Sufism in Modern Arab Poetry: A Study of AL-Maqalehs poetic Experience

Abstract

This research seeks to reveal a stage of the development of the obsession with tendency in Al-Maqaleh’s poetic experience, so it stops at the manifestations of this obsession and its manifestations in one of the most important stages of the poet’s experience, which is the stage of ideological commitment to socialist realism, which relied on Sufism. Of a specific nature and specific realistic goals. The research tried to reveal it in an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. Through this, we aim to answer the following questions: What is committed Sufism and how and when did it appear in Al-Maqalih’s poetry? And why? How did it end? Using the discourse analysis method.
