Digital Governance and Its Relationship with Organizational Excellence in Environmental Nonprofit Organizations in Riyadh City

This study aimed to identify the level of digital governance implementation and its relationship to achieving institutional excellence in non-profit organizations operating in the environmental sector in Riyadh. The study also sought to examine whether there were statistically significant differences in respondents’ perceptions attributable to demographic variables represented by gender and educational qualification. The study adopted the descriptive correlational approach as the most appropriate method for achieving its objectives. A questionnaire was used as the primary instrument for data collection and was administered to a sample consisting of (186) participants. The findings revealed that the level of digital governance implementation in environmental non-profit organizations in Riyadh was high. The results also indicated that the level of institutional excellence was high. Furthermore, the findings showed that there were no statistically significant differences in respondents’ perceptions regarding the level of digital governance implementation or institutional excellence attributable to gender or educational qualification. In addition, the study demonstrated a strong positive statistically significant correlation between digital governance and institutional excellence. The study recommended strengthening digital governance practices within non-profit organizations, developing digital accountability systems, supporting technical infrastructure, and enhancing cybersecurity measures. It also emphasized the importance of promoting a culture of institutional innovation and developing mechanisms for measuring beneficiaries’ satisfaction in order to achieve higher levels of institutional excellence and organizational sustainability.Downloads
