The Reality of Hiring Middle School Mathematics Teachers' Use for Teaching and Evaluation Tools in the 'My School Platform'

Abstract

The study aims to identify the level of employment of middle school mathematics teachers for teaching and evaluation tools in 'My School Platform', and to identify the difficulties of middle school mathematics teachers’ employment of teaching and evaluation tools in 'My School Platform'. The study has used the analytical and descriptive approach. Questionnaire and interview are used to collect data from a random sampling of middle school mathematics teachers in Buraidah. The data have been analyzed according to the statistical software package (SPSS). The study has found that the reality of the employment of middle school mathematics teachers for teaching and evaluation tools in 'My School Platform' comes with (mostly), where the mean of the total number comes with (2.78). The axis of the level of mathematics teachers’ use of evaluation tools in my school platform comes in the first place with a mean of (2.96). Then the axis of the level of mathematics teachers' use in the intermediate stage of teaching tools on 'My School Platform' comes in the second rank with a mean of (2.59). The study has recommended the necessity of conducting more training courses for middle school mathematics teachers on how to use education tools and electronic evaluation, and the need to provide educational tools and electronic evaluation on 'My School Platform' to achieve diversity in use and interaction of students with teachers. The researcher has suggested to conduct a study similar to this study on other regions of the Qassim or outside. Moreover, to conduct similar studies to this study at the primary and secondary levels, each study separately, a procedure on the extent to which mathematics teachers are proficient in using educational and electronic evaluation tools.
