Abstract

The current study aims to reveal the degree of moral intelligence among high school students and its relationship to the variable of self-respect. The study aims at exploring whether there are statistically significant differences on the measure of moral intelligence and the measure of self-respect among the study sample (males and females). The sample of the study consists of (195) male and female students, and they were chosen randomly. The researcher has used the moral intelligence scale of Al-Nasser (2009) and the self-respect scale of Al-Mafarji (2022) as tools to collect data. The results of the study have revealed that there is a statistically significant wave correlation between moral intelligence and self-respect among the members of the study sample in favour of females. There are significant differences between the study sample (males and females) regarding the self-respect in favour of females. Accordingly, some recommendations are presented.
