The study aimed to evaluate the English language textbook "Mega Goal 2" in light of the 21st-century skills outlined in the national framework document for standards in general education curricula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study used a descriptive methodology and content analysis to assess the textbook. The sample study focused on the English language version of the second stage of Mega Goal 2 for the academic year 1445. A content analysis card, prepared based on the 21st-century skills outlined in the national framework document, was used as the study tool. The authenticity and consistency of the analysis were confirmed through the extraction of repetitions and ratios. The study's results indicated that the English language textbook (Mega Goal 2) included 17.46 percent of the 21st-century skills, with the highest inclusion in the area of critical thinking skills (22.58 percent), followed by creative thinking and innovation skills (20.37 percent), learning skills (13.22 percent), and scientific research skills (12.66 percent). Based on these findings, the researchers proposed several recommendations. One of the key recommendations was for education experts and curriculum developers to utilize the study's results to enhance the integration of 21st-century skills outlined in the national framework document into the content of English-language textbooks in Saudi Arabia.Downloads
