This study aimed to identify the reality of parents' practice of Islamic education methods in the family from their point of view, and to find out whether parents' responses to the reality of their practice of Islamic education methods in the family differ according to their gender, age and educational level. The descriptive survey method was used. The questionnaire was used as a study tool and was applied to a sample of 780 individuals, including 390 fathers and 390 mothers, citizens and residents of the Qassim region who have at least one child, whose age exceeded the age of discrimination, which is seven years. The main results are: 1- Parents practice Islamic education methods in the family to a large degree; the largely highest practiced method was education by guidance and advice; and in the second order education by events and situations, and the least practiced methods by them were two styles: education by drawing and illustration, and education by theoretical knowledge. 2- The differences between mothers and fathers are not significant in their overall practice of Islamic education methods in the family, except for the methods of: education by dialogue and discussion, education by theoretical knowledge, and education by guidance and advice, as these methods are practiced to a greater extent by mothers, as well as the method of education by drawing and illustration, which is practiced by fathers to a greater degree. 3- There are no statistically significant differences in the responses of parents about the reality of their practice of Islamic education methods in the family due to the difference in age, at the level of all methods except the method of education with guidance and advice, among parents, which turned out to be in favor of the age group from 50 to 60 years. 4- There are generally statistically significant differences in the responses of fathers about the reality of practicing Islamic education methods in the family due to the different educational level of the father, and the differences in favor of the two groups of educational qualification (postgraduate studies, bachelor's or educational diploma).Downloads
