Abstract

The sources of the Sunnah are the sayings, actions and reports of the Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). We mention, but are not limited to, what was stated in " the Prophet Mohammad was interested in doing- peace be upon him - but did not". It is one of the most important sources of Hadith, judgments and orders of intent.

The research included the definition of "what was interested in doing" as being new and self-directed to the thing. It is named (Hamm) because it is something that the person is concerned to do and prevails over his thought and installation. He cares for him, dissolves his companion and combines sincere determination and unwavering intent to act with direction and intent.

What was the Prophet Mohammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) interested in doing (al-hamm) may respond in its verbal form to the subject matter (Hamamt) which is the subject of this study or without the use of its verbal sense, but the circumstances and facts indicate the prophet Mohammad concern, peace be upon him in doing a certain act.

The study is divided into: a concern/an interest in doing which is intentionally out of Islamic legislation (Sharia); because it is before the Prophet Mohammad mission and concern/interest in doing related to the Islamic legislation intent. This latter is divided into: a concern set out for the reason of abandonment and a concern without indicating the reason for abandonment. The concern/the interest in doing is one of the “Sunnah” sections because Prophet Mohammad- peace be upon him- is interested only in doing things required by Sharia. It can also be considered as a legitimate argument that could be attached to the Sunnah and used to infer to events and acts, as if it is one of Sharia provisions.

The research also deals with the study of the hadiths in which the Prophet Mohammad -peace be upon him by- has an interest in doing something and did not in (worship, transactions, virtues, “Maghazi and Siyar”). In addition, it states the reason for the abandonment of what the Prophet Mohammad was interested in doing and did not in (descent of revelation, payment of hardship, the existence of alternative, accepting advice, taking into account the people conditions, and ignorance of Sharia....)
