Services provided to the Prophet’s Mosque in the Saudi era The reign of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is a model

Abstract

The Prophet's Mosque witnessed, during the reign of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz may God have mercy on him, a remarkable development in the field of services provided to worshipers and visitors. King Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, paid great attention to it, whether by expanding it or providing it with all services and means of comfort and modernity. Therefore, this study came to identify the most prominent services provided in the Prophet's Mosque that serve the guests of God with a direct reception and contributed to providing a comfortable and safe environment for worshipers and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque. This study included in its introduction a definition of the research and its importance, the reason for choosing the topic, its objectives, the methodology adopted in the study, and the temporal and spatial framework. The introduction included a simplified overview of the importance of the Prophet's Mosque and the history of services in it since the reign of King Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, through the reign of King Khalid, may God have mercy on him, until reaching a simplified overview of the services of the Prophet's Mosque during the reign of King Abdullah, may God have mercy on him. Then, the first section shed light on the watering services and the courtyard services in the Prophet's Mosque and the most important works accomplished in them. The second section dealt with the door services. And the vehicles and cleaning services in the Prophet’s Mosque, and getting to know the departments specialized in them and their most important tasks, and finally the third section included a study on the security and safety services and crowd management and operations in the Prophet’s Mosque and their achievements, then this study concluded with the results and recommendations, and attached to the appendices are pictures and service statistics in the prophets mosque.
