Abstract

This study aimed to identify the pillars of educational sustainability and its requirements in the era of artificial intelligence: a field study in the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. The study community consisted of directors and their assistants in the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. An electronic questionnaire was sent to all sample members, and all questionnaires were returned. A convenient sample of 49ndividuals was selected. The descriptive analytical approach was used to collect and analyze data. The study reached many results, the most important of which were: There is a statistically significant effect of the dimensions of artificial intelligence (interactive machines, limited memory, self-awareness) in enhancing the pillars of sustainability and its requirements in education in the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. There is no statistically significant effect of interactive machines in enhancing the pillars of sustainability and their requirements in education in the Directorate General of Education in Dhofar Governorate. The study recommended the need to work on improving the level of workers in the educational field and training them to use innovative systems and advanced digital technology by looking forward and keeping pace with developments in the field of education in light of artificial intelligence.
