The research used the descriptive approach using questionnaire prepared by the researcher. The sample of research composed of ( 360) persons , the research comes up with several results as the following :
- Taiz city residents suffered from multiple problems, firstly, the waste accumulation in the streets and neighborhoods, secondly, the problem of sanitary sewer overflow and thirdly, the spread of t infectious diseases (dengue fever, cholera……).
- Poor working of the NGOS in Taiz city; the highest percentage to the NGOS work is only 30% and there are some areas without any NGOS support.
- The activities of the NGOS are not matching with the residentsproblems of Taiz city.
- One of the most prominent difficulties that impede the implementation of the environmental and health activities is the shortage of financial support, the absent of Institutional work, the lack of work program and clear visions.
One of the most proposed mechanism for improving the public health and Environmentalism from the point of view of the sample are providing the garbage tanks and trucks for waste to take it regularly, providing tanks for drinking water, tools for filtering water and repairing the sewages.
