The researcher aims to demonstrate the extent to which phonetic rhetorical meanings align with the doctrines established by the Quran and the Sunnah (Prophetic traditions). The study is based on an inductive examination of scholars' views on phonetic meaning, deriving phonetic meanings from religious texts related to doctrine, analyzing these meanings, and establishing rules and guidelines for their correct application in the field of doctrine. Findings: First: Phonetic meaning is a form of meaning with a foundational Arabic origin. It has its own established rules and general frameworks, and its application is therefore essential for reasoning and reflection. Second: Moderation and balance in reasoning is the correct approach to employing this meaning. We should avoid excess, forcing meanings onto the text that it cannot bear, and expanding its application to the point of distorting its intended meaning. Conversely, we should not be overly restrictive in prohibiting the application of this meaning, given its necessity and the beauty of the resulting implications. Third: Among the important principles that emerge when applying this denotation is the principle of a holistic view of the text and its meanings, taking into account all the contextual clues surrounding the religious text, so that there is no contradiction between the derived phonetic denotations and the other clues provided by the religious texts. The value of examining phonetic denotation lies in the fact that it highlights a rhetorical and miraculous aspect of the religious text, on the one hand, and on the other hand, applying phonetic denotation is a form of religious contemplation.Downloads
