Abstract

The present study aimed to build a scale of self-assessment teaching performance practices inside classroom from the point of view off faculty. For the purpose of the study, some teaching performance practices inside the classroom were listed and a 50- item instrument was composed. It was applied on a random sample consisted of 171 faculty members from 16 faculties at Shaqra University. Depending on the equation of regression analysis, the study ended up with a construction of a self-assessment scale consisting of 36 items with good validity and reliability indices. In the light of the results, some recommendation were proposed.
