Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of university education in providing the university youth with the positive values. It also aims to explore the risks of intellectual and cultural invasion of globalization and its consequences on the individuals and groups and to explore the ability of university education to enhance affiliation among the youth. It has been found that there is a statistically significant difference in the level of understanding the concept of globalization between males and females in favor of women and there are no statistically significant differences in the level of affiliation attributed to the variables of gender, college and academic level. There is a statistically significant difference in the level of students' understanding the role of the university in enhancing affiliation among the young attributed to gender and   in favor of men.
